Living on cloud nine with serviced apartments in Kennedy Town
Skyla is a serviced apartments provider in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong Island. It is closely located near to Central and Cyberport where a high number of white-collar professionals go to work.
The client mainly serves expatriates coming over to work in Hong Kong. They wanted a logo to accompany their name and a brand identity that matches their target audience. We produced a logo for them that resembles the letter 'S' in the shape of auspicious clouds, which is known as '祥雲' in Chinese and represents the heavens or implies meanings of luck and fortune. The design was chosen in large part to accommodate the tastes of expatriates wanting to experience Hong Kong's culture.
Following the art direction, we developed a branding guideline for the clients and used the underlying theme and colour to produce other marketing materials, such as business cards.
Once a branding guideline was developed, we designed and produced their website. The brand's creatives, art direction and photos we took from a photo shoot were implemented onto their new website, which features on-page search engine optimisation (SEO) and a customised content management system (CMS).
